Here comes the bride: Shannon Leigh. Her bridal shower was Sunday at The Grove. Shannon and I met by chance at Newark Airport two years ago when we were bumped from the same American Airlines flight to LAX. At the time, she did marketing for Barbie at Mattel Corp. and being a former Barbie user, I was fascinated. Both of us raved about the book,Barbie Loves L.A: America's Favorite Doll Sees the Sites, by Greg Lavoi (Author). There’s a great photo of Barbie in Beverly Hills!
