Algonquin West Hollywood Literary Award

Last year the West Hollywood Book Fair celebrated Dorothy Parker and her literary tribe by establishing the Algonquin West Hollywood Literary Award. This award is given to a writer who has made signification contributions to the world's literary landscape; this year's recipient was Luis Rodriguez, poet and activist. The Book Fair, developed seven years ago, has promoted and encouraged reading, writing and literacy and featured more than 300 authors and performers. "A Marvelous Party with Noel Coward" offered a staged reading of Coward's most beloved plays.
