Today I had the great privilege of having lunch with the Founder & CEO of Roots of Peace. Following the death of the late Princess Diana, Heidi Kuhn envisioned a world where the scourge of landmines would be replaced with bountiful vineyards. Beginning a quest to transform "seeds of terror" into "seeds of hope", her entire family joined her efforts and the Roots of Peace business model has expanded to 23 of the 34 provinces in Afghanistan.
