MOCA members were invited to celebrate the museum's 30th anniversary at a birthday party Saturday night. The Collection: MOCA's First Thirty Years was an unforgettable art experience. In fact, Susie Dobson and I felt that we had reached out saturation point about two-thirds through the various rooms. Showcasing more than 500 works by more than 200 artists at both of MOCA's downtown Los Angeles locations, offered the most comprehensive long-term installation of the museum's world-renowned collection of postwar art to date.
