Silent Movie Theatre

The Silent Theatre is no longer silent, but is showing rare movies of all kinds. Located at 611 North Fairfax Avenue, repertory films will be shown four days a week! Their first venture was a Jim Henson retrospective beginning with rare shorts, industrial films, crazy commercials, TV pilots and an experimental film on 33 mm. Who knew Kermit sold sausages in the 1950's? "Time Piece" showed Henson's talent for making music out of every day sounds. http://cinefamily.org/
