Everett slipped an emerald-cut diamond flanked by two diamond honeybees on my hand and I apologized by saying I needed a manicure. He laughed and exclaimed that all women say that! The French master often found inspiration in nature who turned out innovative pieces for more than 30 years. I lovingly examined fantastical diamond daisies, asters, camellias, dandelions and even parrots. Sarah Jessica Parker has enamel bangles in yellow gold and diamonds. They would look good on me too. But not until I get a manicure!
