It's a familiar opera of course, but with soprano, Marina Poplavskaya, singing Violetta's role, in Verdi's "La Traviata" it's a dream. The LA Times referred to her as "...a major sensation." It was a perfect evening. The performance fits the stage and the musical conducting was captivating. Violetta's friend, Flora, knows how to throw a good party too!
