For the past three nights, I have been immersed in screenings at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Programs included film clips and onstage discussion with filmmakers. It's one of my favorite things to do before Oscar Night. I imagined that it would give me a handicap for those ballots people do at parties on Sunday. But I've found it only confuses the voting process for me. All of the films deserve an Oscar. There are several events left on the agenda this weekend. Go to
