In conjunction with the Caravaggio exhibit at the Los Angeles County Art Museum, a musical and ballet celebration was created to honor the great Italian master. The evening began with a performance of Baroque instrumentalists in the exhibit galleries, followed by the U.S. premiere of
Caravaggio, a ballet composed by Gionanni Sollima, choreographed by Matteo Levaggi and performed by the members of the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. The exhibit ends on Sunday, February 10th.
