Chris Burden's (creator of
Urban Light) recent large-scale kinetic installation at the Los Angeles County Art Museum features 1,100 toy cars speeding across eighteen roadways, twisting around an elaborately built cityscape. It is run only on the weekends and crowds gather in the balcony to see this intense and complex work of art.
