Yes there are signs of autumn in Los Angeles. Found this lovely tree in the La Cienega Park, Beverly Hills, on Sunday to prove it.

Wendy: Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I still suffer from LA culture shock on occasion. As general manager of Le Dufy Hotel in the 80's, associates referred to me as 'Gidget'. Inspired by my fearless globe-trotting Aunt Evie, I took the leap to move to Los Angeles and have been traveling ever since in order to "get out of Dodge".
