When an associate asked me a few weeks ago if I would accompany her to Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas at Geffen Playhouse, I thought "Of course I'll come with you. I love my brown alpaca Vera Wang coat. Anything to save them!" And saves them, he does! The play takes place over the course of two weeks in Beverly Hills and on Mount Chimborazo in the Ecuadorian Andes. We loved French Stewart and Jeffrey/Pierre de Perrie Jouet. Matthew is quite charming making fun of celebrity activism at every turn. Life size alpaca puppets finally get some 'afternoon delight'. Yeah!
